It was the goal of the team at Big Wave to create an effective website that would capture the attention of their current and potential clients, leading to an increase in inquiries.
The approach I took involved starting from scratch while maintaining the website structure, analyzing the competition, identifying the target audience, and designing a website that portrayed the brand as professional, confident and trustworthy.
During my collaboration with Big Wave's founder, I sought to understand who their competitors were and what their unique value propositions were. From there, I explored how Big Wave compared to their competitors.
My research led me to identify two main user archetypes that illustrate the goals and frustrations of users; these behavior archetypes were helpful in defining the roadmap and content strategy for the website.
After ideating, these were the final deliverables on the low-fidelity wireframes.
